Ondines are mythical water creatures. The shine of the silk makes me think of my childhood by the lake, fascinated with legends and literature.
This is the loveliest yarn you’ll ever find. Being single ply, its fiber content makes it hard wearing but at the same time has an amazing feel. Lightness, shine, softness… You will not want to stop knitting with it!

- Weight: fingering

- Composition: 50% silk - 50% merino

- Needles: between 3 and 4,5 mm, but please make a swatch to see which fabric you like best

Colors change in each lot, and sometimes even in each skein. If you want to avoid problems you should combine skeins as you knit. Oh, and try to buy all the skeins you need for your project in one order, the differences between dyeing lots are usually evident.
Cada pantalla presenta el color de manera un poco distinta, y aunque yo edite las fotos con todo el cuidado del mundo, es inevitable que lo que ves en pantalla no sea exactamente lo que verás en la madeja real. Además, las fotos que ves en la página normalmente no son de las mismas madejas que te voy a enviar, aunque discretas, siempre hay algunas variaciones.
Wash the finished piece carefully in cold water (NOT WARM!!!) and with the same shampoo you use for your hair. You don't need to use vinegar. In the first washes a little dye can be released, so if you are going to use very contrasting colors it is better to knit a small sample and wash it. This is impossible to avoid, so I will repeat it a thousand times if necessary: wash with cold water and shampoo!

I ship orders once a week, usually on tuesdays. If you placed an order of yarn ready to ship it will leave my workshop on the next shipping day. If you chose a dyed to order yarn I will have to dye it and will ship in two-four weeks time. If you have both kind of yarns I’ll ship the order when I have dyed the dyed to order skeins.
When your yarn is ready to ship you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Once your parcel leaves my door it usually takes from one to three days (usually no more than two) if you live in Spain, Portugal or Andorra. International shipping times and shipping to the islands are harder to predict, but usually don’t take more than one week.
